I got my Christmas present from my "Windy Pines" cousin, Michele. I had told Michele how much I loved the ice skates in the MJF magazine and lo & behold she painted up a pair for me! Thank you so very much Michele and JanetF (where have you been farmgirl?) for such a beautiful Christmas present that I will put on my door all winter long. Every winter from now on! I love them!

Whoa - those are awesome! Lucky girl. I am going to have to dig my ice skates out...don't think they fit me anymore and they hurt my feet anyhow. Now to figure out how to do the fancy tole painting type poinsettia. I have a perfect spot for them too.

Thanks for sharing Dawn.

I agree, Michele is one talented lady! So is her mom, Janet. I've been showing my skates off to everyone who comes over! Everyone is impressed with the beautiful job they did!

JUst wanted to say, my ma did all the hard work on those skates! I just did the background, and the base coating. Thanks to MJF for the idea.
