This last year I lost my little 4 legged buddy "Abby". She was a miniture schnauzer and I had had her for 14 years. She was awesome. Up until this week I hadnt had much interrest in finding a new pet. We have Kiani a huge mountain of a dog that belongs to one of my adult sons ( who is in the military), but Kiani is very much Lucas' and isnt so much of a lap dog.. Matter of fact he is an outdoor dog as he is a "bull in a china shop" in the house. yesterday I found a listing for a Bishon Frise/Schnauzer mix and I just couldnt sleep last night~ thinking it might be time to bring another one home. The house hasnt really been the same since Abby hasnt been here........So I emailed the folks with the puppies and we will see...
I have a Bichon and they are the most affectionate dogs in the world and are great around kids. Dash is 3 years old and I got him when he was 3 months old in the dead of winter. Training was so much fun in the snow. Ha! You will just love him. He loves to ride in the car and doesn't care if it is cold or hot. Hope you get him. How old is he?

awww Rene, I had a mini schnauzer Winnie and she was a runt too. We lost her two may's ago to brain tumors but we grew up together. She was 16.5 years old! :) When she got ill I got another mini schnauzer Louis and it actually helped her live 2 more years cause she was like oh you're trying to replace me I'll show you :) She was fiesty. I still feel like she's in the house though. Let us know!!

Rene have you ever thought about a rescue dog? My DD just got a darling, year old, cocker spaniel from Calif. through "Angels Under Our Wings"...a heartwarming little thing she is.
