Nancy, I love the use of the buttons. How cute. I have my grandma's button box. It is a wooden cigar box and it is full of buttons. When I was a little girl, I would play with the buttons, lining them up, big to little, then put all the red ones together and stuff like that. Know what, 60 years later, I am still playing with the buttons. Yep red ones together, white ones together. Some of us never grow up.

Nancy I love it! All of the button embelishments really make it a beauty.
I love sewing on paper as well. A lady at a craft fair back in September turned me on to it. I will share the tip she gave me with you...her tip was to make sure that you mark a needle for paper use only. She must have learned the hard way if it was her "most important" tip to give. :)

You did a great job, Nancy Jo. Just enough sewing to add a country charm to it!

Nancy,
Too cute. I have wanted to try this too but haven't yet. I'm afraid to ruin something on my new machine.

Beautiful. Love the buttons. Thanks for sharing!

Since you get more joy out of giving joy to others, you should put a good deal of thought into the happiness that you are able to give.

Way to go! I got a new machine last year and have not used it much at all! I need to start sewing again! The card is darling...I would have never thought of that...you are so creative! You have been busy! My son turned 28 yesterday and he is "the baby" in the family. I sent him a tin of homemade Christmas cookies for his birthday and hopefully he will be here for Christmas.
You decorations are so cute and there is no better way to get in the spirit of the season than to go watch those "little ones" put on a Christmas program...I miss that! Congrats on your Granddaughter getting that award! She must have gotten her "smarts" from her Grandmother!
We had an ice storm yesterday and today too so I'm staying in. I got to the mailbox yesterday only to find it frozen shut....oh well.....I'm sure my bills are safe in there! LOL!
There's only 8 days left until the kids come and I am down to the wire! Enjoy those grandchildren and you have such a nice family....love ya!
