I had my bedroom re-done, and I don't have new window treatments yet. For privacy, I took a sheet and duct taped it to my window. I didn't want to nail the sheet to the new molding. Not a smart idea, as the tape is leaving the sticky gunk on the window. How would I remove it? Any suggestions? Thanks!

WD-40 is the best duct tape gunk remover. If that fails, try "Goo Gone"

Thanks, Alee! I'll have to give it a shot. I wasn't thinking when I used the tape. ;D

At least it shouldn't be permanent damage!

I second that motion!!--lol..when we were repairing the windows in the restaurant, we had already painted and quite by accident found that WD-40 was the pest stuff for getting it off without ruining the paint. :)

I've never used WD-40 but I have used plain old lamp oil to remove very sticky adhesive. If you don't have any WD-40 on hand, try that.
