My dad is a true Jack-Of-All-Trades.
Let me start at the beginning.
Doug and I went home for Thanksgiving, but Doug still had to work. So I stayed with my parents for a week and a half while Doug was in Billings.
Well, the day after Thanksgiving, Doug called to tell me our car was dead- wouldn't shift out of park. So we looked it up in owners manual which as an odd coincidence happened to be in Worland and not with the car...
So we narrowed the problem down to the Brake Light Switch.
I ordered the part and brought it from Worland to Billings today when dad brought me home. Dad found out that the switch itself wasn't what was bad- a wire had broken!
So after spending $3 at the Hardware store, my dad was able to do a semi-permanent fix on the brake switch! He is going to do a permanent fix over Christmas!
He also repaired my vacuum and shampooer electrical cords while here!
Isn't that great! He was only here for about and hour and saved us over $200!!!

Hi Gals!
I sure am lucky! And he is just the sweetest guy ever. He always works on stuff for other people first and leaves very little time for himself. In fact, we are having a "girls only" weekend for my birthday this coming Friday/Saturday and he is staying home to do some of his projects that- as is typical for him- he is giving away. He is building gorgeous wood hope chests for all the grandkids. There are 8!
