I was watching an old rerun of Ally McBeal the other day. the episode was when Ally gave herself a Theme Song to remind her of her strength in times of trial.
Mine is: All Fired UP by Pat Benatar. Wow. What a song, I hear it and I can take on anything!!

Great question!! I'm going to have to think about this awhile, but I'm looking forward to seeing what others pick.

Not sure about a theme song. Sounds like something that we should all have. The song that probably discribes me most is "I was country when country wasn't cool" Barbara Mandrell |

i've had different theme songs over the course of my life. when i was leaving my husband, No Reins by Rascal Flatts was my mantra. anytime life is really dragging me down, Audio Adrenaline's Underdog album becomes my life sound track. currently i have two songs, Big Star by Kenny Chesney and My Paper Heart by Francesca Battistelli

I agree with you Corrine (barefootgoatgirl). I too have had different themes throughout the trials and triumphs of my life! When I was going through my divorce it was Standing Tall by Lorrie Morgan. When I was a young mother it was I'm Every Woman, and things have changed over the years..... Right now I'm kinda digging NO FEAR by Terri Clark..... and the Pat Benatar song.....
Green Acres.... ROFL!!!

like karin (mumof3) my first thought was the green acres tv show song, but my second was the "i will survive....hold my head up high!" song!!---someone else mentioned that one also, see...i guess we farmgirls really do have a lot of similarities! |

I know this is sappy, but right now mine would be Blue Christmas by Elvis because I don't think my mom is going to be able to come for Christmas and she loves Elvis so that song really makes me think of her!

I love the Reverend Al Green's Let's Stay Together. Smooth and soulful!! I guess my age is showing although when I was younger I used to blast Led Zeppelin at full volume. |
