We have a needy family in our area with a little tiny, less than three months old, baby boy. They have nothing for him and are desperate. This will be my project for my part of our charity this Christmas and I pray any and all of you will help bless them.
They don't have even the very basic's..
If anyone wants to help please send to our Head Quarters at
Heavenly Angels In Need
Children's Division

Anything you can do will be of great help..Thank you in advance...

Yes, this would be great. They are not picky and would be very grateful. Thank you so much for helping me with this and blessing them!
Blessings and hugs,
Pauline

I can send tax receipts for any items sent as well...

I am, myself, collecting for our baby to be born in February--though she's a girl, I'm sure I can find something in our "stash" of things that would work for a boy. Do you have an idea of his size at 3 months? Lb. wise?

When you say basics, could you please give some specifics? I'd love to help, since we've been so blessed by good friends and family.

Thank you each very much. I honestly cannot tell you what this little guys weight is. He was born preemie so I would guesstimate around 10-12 pounds at most. Then he may have gained a few since I last knew..Even blankets would do for this family
I love your name Violet, it is my sisters name and my late grandmothers! Congratulations on that baby girl. If you have needs for her please let me know..
Blessings to all that help with this family and to those who wish they could but can't!
Pauline
PS Miss Wilma! I just checked out your blog..I LOVE that coverlet..you are blessed to have it. I love the rest too. but that took my breath away. I am hoping to eventually find someone to crochet a coverlet for my bed in Christmas colors..One day..just had to let you know though. Looks like the girls were having fun all together. One day we will celebrate here like that and get settled enough to start a group. sigh

Excellent. I will get some items together this evening from home, and there is a WONDERFUL thrift near me, if that's alright--oftentimes, it's like the items are brand new (and some are!), so I will head there on my lunch hour tomorrow.

Thanks...Violet is my favorite flower, and our soon to be little one's name--Violet Mae. Our lower field is full of those lovely little blooms when Spring comes around, and we thought it would be perfect for her! How neat that your sister was named for your Grandmother--I love the continuation in families.

Thank you, Violet, and yes, the Thrift items are a great idea!
I was named after my mother and she had a half sister named Paula after my grand father named Paul! Now I have a grandson named Paul after his great great grandfather Paul and his grandfather on his fathers side. LOL How was that for a twist?
I hope you have lots of violets around and wished I did as they are precious flowers, for sure. You make my heart smile..

I can't really do anything to help.

But, if he was a preemie and is 3 months, he could possibly be 10 to 12 lbs...but my daughter was a preemie, and wasn't 12 lbs till she was a year old. At 3 months, she was about 6 lbs. She was two weeks early, and weighed 4 lbs at birth.

Thank you, I have two grandsons that were preemie, one was 3 lbs 12 oz's and was 32 weeks gestation and the other was 3 months preemie and weighed 2 lbs 10 oz's at birth. Unfortunately, and the reason for our charity being founded, I lost a granddaughter at 21 weeks gestation.
Anyway, I agree that the baby may be that small I don't really know as I live so far out of town I never get to see them.
Hugs..
Pauline

His is William Dunaway. Mine is Leisanne Dunaway. Ethan is about 2 months & he wears 0 to3. Matthew is 6 years old & he wears 6 to 7 small and his shoe is 12. They both could use cloths. Matt alway likes dragons.
Thank you, Leisanne

Sorry everyone, this is what the family actually needs. I just found this email out today and thought I had better update it all. I am sure it all helps anyway and I am busy gathering at this end too. I got a few items when he gets a bit bigger (baby). Nothing for the little boy yet. Thank you for anything you can do for them.
Blessings,
Pauline

Oh HI,
I just saw that this little boy likes dragons and so I have a quilt that is half done that is a dragon and I am going to try really hard and get it there by christmas. I figure the baby will get everything so the older brother needs something too. I can't promise but I am going to give it a good shot. Bev

How sweet of you, Bev, that would be wonderful! I love your saying about the dog and soul. lol That is true. I met a person today while I am selling puppies and the little male puppy would have nothing to do with the man and I didn't like the guy either and I was relieved to watch the guy drive off saying he had to ask his wife! I hate saying no to someone, but that man would have been a real NO!
I am sending farm hugs and squeezes to all who are helping and those who wished they could and can't. I have been both places myself..
Blessings,
Pauline

Always go with your gut feeling about selling a puppy. If it doesn't feel right please say no. I didn't one time and the guy only kept him for 2 weeks and then gave him to an adoption place. he couldn't handle the potty training. I wish I had just said no... I will get started on finishing that quilt tomorrow. I have it all laid out and ready to start. Getting lots of snow here so I think I won't be doing anything else but finishing up christmas presents. Who hoo that will make me happy. I like staying home and sewing or knitting so yipee let it snow!!!! hehehehehehe

Oh, I love snow so much. I used to live in Kalispell, Montana and I got to enjoy the snow a bunch more often than here. It is so pretty in the Glaciers. It might snow on the Valley floor here this weekend. We live higher up in the mountains and sometimes it will snow deeper here and sometimes it just doesn't get here. If it does I can't wait to watch the pheasants that are next door on a pheasant farm, come visit and walk through the snow. Oh that's exciting. And of course the deer..
I love Christmas and making things homemade when it snows outside has to be the highlight of winter!
Thank you so very much..
Puppies will only go to nice loving homes..:)
Blessings,
Pauline

Oh, thank you so much. I am so sorry about the post being messed up. I know the Children get to me too, lol, I guess that's why I head up the Children's Division of our charity. It just breaks my heart to see a child in need and not be able to meet it. I am just hearing the news out of Florida this morning and am saddened to hear about Kaylee. So wrenching.
You are in my prayers for blessings, Wilma!

You know, I just don't know what size the parents are. Guess I got so excited over the kids I failed to ask. lol I bet they would appreciate anything you can manage to send. I have one local lady that earned a dinner from her company that she is donating. The creativity is amazing to me of each person. it is like Christmas to me just getting the items to deliver. I think I get the best end of the whole thing and that is seeing the look on all their faces. I have said nothing about anything coming to them. Hope they have a fat chimney..
I will see what I can find out for you.
Great big squeezes!

I haven't found the way to get to them yet to ask what size they wear. I will keep trying..they live about 35 miles from me so I can't just go see. Hummm..I don't have their phone number either. Might have to just apply things that need no real size, however that works. I picture myself in huge clothes now saying thank you...lol
Anyway, if you like doing things like this I would love having you on my charity with me. There is always a need for special families like this and it is so very gratifying.
You make my Christmas Happy this year.. :)

Beverley,
How fantastic! You are fast and I am so thankful for you. I hope to get feed back from this family, sometimes we don't, and I will let you know what they say. This is so special though I don't know how one could not say something wonderful.
I think this family will be very blessed..
Merry Christmas to you and all your loved ones, and thank you..
Blessings,
Pauline

I just read your blog, or at least part of it, and realized we have a few things in common, small dogs (I am selling puppies) and goats. I have 5 and am getting more! How funny. I certainly understand your rules about buying the dogs and refunds...
God bless you...
