and they were warning about buying "gift cards" as a lot of companies were to be closing store locations and it may be hard for people to "cash in" their cards.....

Rene, that's a great idea! There's another post on the thread about not buying gift cards. It has an article and list of stores that are planning to close down. I posted a reference to that article but I didn't think about gift cards from the farm. DUH! That's why you are so precious to us and so very needed here.

Gift cards this year might not be smart. I agree with the website and don't plan on purchasing any. It would be devastating to someone if the gift card they purchased or received was worth nothing. To take a chance this year is to great.
