I have been sewing all day. It's so much fun to be able to do some arts and crafts, but after a while- you need to stretch out your back! LOL

How is everyone's winter sewing projects coming along?

Alee,
I am working on a couple of aprons and finishing up a table runner. I also have some clothespins to finish up for a swap. I really should get back to work.
What are you working on, Alee?

I have been finishing some of my hand made dolls and making doll clothes. I want to drop them off to their new owner tonight (Luckily Fed-Ex is open late!) So I have been pushing forward. I have a project due tomorrow for school so after tomorrow, I will be able to enjoy the holidays!

No sewing - just crocheting - LIKE A MAD-WOMAN!!! Have an afghan to finish this week for a wedding and an ornament to mail out for a SWAP. On top of the bunches of dough/cookies I've got to do...

I agree - sometimes you just need to stretch out your back!
Happy Thanksgiving!

Alee, I spent all weekend in my studio and worked Saturday on a new purse design from wake-up call to almost bedtime--had to revamp the $9 pattern to something that made sense as I felt all I did was rip out seams and resew but it turned out nice in the end--see my blog for a pic.

When in the studio, hubby comes and says "whatcha doin" for the umpteenth time, so I relent and head to the livingroom with him only to pick up my knitting in front of the TV. As I've said before, the Santa Express is at full steam ahead. Can't accuse us of having idle hands!

I am finishing up 2 quilts this week. One just needs the backing sewn together and the other quilt has been cut and I have finally decided on how I want them to be peiced together. But I am hoping to finish them both by Saturday so I can take them to be quilted by machine in time for the holidays.

I also have a stack of dishtowels that need to be embroidered and trimmed but thankfully my daughter has volunteered to help finish some of those off.

With all this rush I guess my new apron will have to be last on the list.

Too funny Jami - I try to save my knitting for when I am home with my husband because he does the exact same thing, follows me around and says "Whatcha doin?" It is really annoying when I am trying to cut out patterns because I cut out in the kitchen, on the kitchen table, which is two rooms away from my sewing room with the ironing board, and yet he will follow me back and forth.
Knitting is much less frustrating:D
