I thought it would be fun to get to meet everyone at the BBB and since I'm so terrible remembering names I thought it would be fun to craft your own name tag with your User Name, Your Name, your City and State.
What do you think?

Cindy,
Awesome Idea! I am so glad to see you posting and getting to know the gals. It was a joy to meet you while Rebekka and I were in CDA teaching a class at the store. Feels like you are making yourself right at home here and we love that.

This is such a great Idea I hope everyone takes it to heart. Keep the amazing ideas, coming!

I think that is a great idea. I was in Michaels the other day and you can buy an empty button, you know those big pin on buttons. They were only a couple bucks, buy one put your name and info in it then you could just pin it to your outfit for the day! Personalize it to make it you!
Hmmmm the wheels have begun to turn!

What if in addtion to the great name tag idea, we crafted something we could swap with eachother at the BBB? Katmom/Grace wears the cutest felt beeskep pin one of the sisters made for her. Wouldn't it be neat to have a face-to-face swap of some sort? I know I'd love to have a special apron to have people sign, but it would be neat to have a pin or charm or something to exchange too.

Michelle, I think that's a great idea, to swap something personally with someone else. I'm afraid I would be intimidated by other farmgirl's work and would offer to possibly exchange something like even fat quarters. Oh, oh,oh, how about if we brought several fat quarters to exchange and then everyone made a craft or quilt or whatever with it and maybe pictures could be submitted to Mary Jane and the winning picture get featured with an article about the BBB or as a follow up story?
What do you all think? It's just an idea that popped in my head.

OH, button button who's got my button? Wouldn't they look cute to embellish things, like the fat quarter crafts? That would be fun! Some recycled buttons we could sign our names on and keep on a pretty string dangling from our aprons. I like that idea!

I think Buttons would be so cool........HMMMMM we need to be "crafty"! come on gals we can figure this out....................I wonder if there is a way (ok your jewlery girls) that we can make a bracelet (at home) that we can attach buttons to (while on the road)... and then see who collects the most farmgirls buttons at the end of the weekend?

Oh hey.. how about a necklace.. you know instead of the 1920's flapper beads, we would have our own version of the "farmgirl flpper" button necklace?

Oh, I love the idea. Actually you know in scouting when they have special events, like jamborees and such there are special badges to wear showing you attended. I think we should explore this idea of trading something, it would be so fun. This BBB is just getting better and better!

Okay, so buttons have holes. We could bend a bit of wire or use a bit of embroidery floss to attach the buttons to the necklace/bracelet. Boy, would they sparkle when we shimmy. We could use an engraving tool to etch our names on them, or a sharpie marker. This gives us enough time to gather up our buttons and get them ready...oh, button boxes to keep them in until then..

Maybe to make our own necklace/bracelets take wire and loop it around a tube vase. Snip up one side to make many little C shapes, close the loop to end up with a key-chain looking loop, and link them together? Then each button charm would have its own loop and stay in place without all sliding to the center. Or maybe such loops are available in the craft section...I don't know.
