Felicia just called and is just leaving Boise and heading up the canyon! She'll be here in less than an hour. I'm so excited and so happy to finally get to see her and wrap my arms around her again that I'm almost in tears. Three and a half months away from home is just too long! I so missed her.
She requested chicken enchiladas for dinner. So, I had made them up earlier today and just popped them in the oven. I also made beans, mexican rice and thawed some home-made tomales. For dessert, I made cinnamon-chocolate brownies which I'll serve warm with vanilla ice cream.
She was hoping for snow for Thanksgiving and it looks like she'll get it. It's coming down pretty hard right now.

Uhm, Lisa... I am moving to your house. I expect you to make that dinner at least once a week...LOL Okay okay... probably not...but can you at least post the recipe here since you have a us all drooling?

We had such a nice time last night. We cuddled on the couch after supper and watched Dances with Wolves. She has been missing home as much as we have been missing her. She's still sleeping right now, but we'll be going to church together later. Everyone at church will be so happy to see her again, too.
You all are invited anytime. Too bad you your so far away! Alee, which recipe would you like?
