Hi all -

I recently started a blog about farm life, simple living, barn style, etc.

I don't have my farm yet but I can still dream. If any of you know of any great websites pertaining to any of the above topics, I am in the midst of gathering resources and would love to see what you've got. Thanks so much!

love, EmPaige

Emily, Here are a few of the sites I like and there are links to go further (for research).

Good luck and I hope you like some of these sites.

The web sites above are both homestead forums that I am a member of. The modern homestead doesn't have much activity, but backwoodshome does.

Emily~
I am in the same place as you. I live in the city but not a day goes by where my heart does not long for the country. It is my greatest dream. I can see all of it perfectly in my mind, while I dream~now if only it will come true.
I loved visiting your blog.

Emily,
I like your blog. Very cool. I am trying to get back to blogging about moving our farm. Then I get to start from scratch. Love my farm here but am out of room. I will be interested in what you find, can't wait to see!

Hey Katy,
I thought I recognised "Merry"...(from your post on STL forum).
I wish I could have some alpacas but our life style is just to busy to permit it (for now) so for now I will have to continue visiting the Alpaca's down the road from us.
Oh & I LUV those "alpaca looking neck scarfs on your blog post."

It's funny you write this because on Facebook there is a little myfarm game that I have and realized that for right now at least that is the closest I'll get to ever having my own farm! I am on a blog called homesteadblogger.com and it has some really neat posts about homesteading and farming and sustainable living.

Blessings!

It's great to find so many people that can empathize! And Katy I laughed when I saw that you have an alpaca farm! Alpacas were the discussion of our Christmas - dreams of Alpaca farming! I'm gonna have to check out the treasures on your blog...and go play that game on facebook to get my fix, what's the game called, Farrah?
