Rebekka, sorry I don't have any skates but was thinking- have you tried Goodwill or Salvation Army? If you get to Lewiston try them there. I know that Salvation Army store in Lewiston has shoes for 79 cents and clothes are sometimes 99 cents or $1.49. You have to have some time to look through the stuff but I've bought some really nice clothing items there for $1.49 each. Doesn't matter if it's a winter coat, men's suit coat, jeans, etc, it's all $1.49 each. Don't know if this helps but I hope it does. I just love bargains!

Cindy-I was just thinking that I need to go down to Lewiston for something else...I will try the Salvation Army, it sounds great even if I don't find skates.
Thanks, R

if you call the ice rink by your house they maybe able to tell you when the skate club in your area will be having a skate sale. Ours always had one or had people selling skates. you might give it a try.

Great Idea Beverley! I used to figure skate ages ago and my mama just found my old skates so now I just need little ones- it should be easy to find some at a swap...

I have bought a pair for next to nothing on Dutch E-bay!! They will send them to me soon, YAY! Will post a pic when I have decorated them, lol. I will hang them on my door as well. I love that idea in MJF!!
So cute. Oh the pair I bought are a child's size, so small but not too small.

Hugs from Marian/Dutchy, a farmgirl from the Netherlands :)

Rebekka, OH MY!! I can't believe it!! Rene' just responded in a forum and said it was you who was with her in Coeur d' Alene last week. In that case, we've met! I was the "full figure redhead" that Rene' got the sisterhood brochure for. I think it was great that you guys put on a workshop up there. You probably don't remember me, but I just thought I would tell you.
BTW, I've also been meaning to tell you that I just love the spelling of your name. It looks old fashioned to me, and I love old fashioned.
