Hi Ladies!
Each one of our pillowcase swaps has been such a hit! So I am opening sign ups for another one. This one won't be due until Valentine's Day 2009 Cut off for signing up is New Year's Day 2009
Simply sign up by telling me you want to participate. I will assume that you are going to hand-embroider the pillowcases unless you state other wise.
If you would like to do machine embroidery, that is great! I will try to pair machine embroiderers with other machine embroiderers.
Please use Standard/Queen sized pillowcases- any color or weight. You and your partner can talk about the specifics.
As people start to sign up I will match us into groups of two. So over all you will be embroidering 2 pillowcases (one set) and receiving the same number back.

Hi Marjean!
The size of the design is up to you. I usually pick one of the Aunt Martha pillowcase patterns and use it. One I centered in the middle of the pillowcase and the other is a border that runs the length of one side. Here is one picture- I couldn't find the pictures I took of my first one.

sign me up! I have the set of pillowcases I made last year for a swap that I had to drop out of and finished them and saved them for this.
They are embroidered from already printed ones I bought at Walmart. I feel like this is really chinzy or not as nice as could be so I want to sew on lace or buttons, etc. sound good?
Also I am not so sure that buttons or thick things would feel ok on the face or head when sleeping....in the past I had to turn over embroidered ones to sleep with them.
I'm looking forward to this....I didn't want to just use my own so saved them, I want to think about a farmgirl sister when using some..:-)

I will not be able to get started till after the holidays either.
So who ever is my partner please let me know if that's ok with you, if not you may want to get some one else as a partner.
To tell you the truth, it will probably closer to the V day before I can get them finished and mailed out!
