Hi,
I need some new ideas for things to try. I got my motorcycle endorsement at 39. Became a Master Gardener at 40. Now I'm 41 and looking for something new to try. Does anyone have any ideas?

ha, sounds like you are doing just fine on your own.. Ever thought about writing a book about your adventures?

| Actually I have written a couple of stories. But I'm not sure if I'll ever get the nerve to send them somewhere to see if they would get published. LOL I guess you never know unless you try. Right? |

Marji, do you do any needlecrafting? I learned to knit at 39 and quilt at 40. Also took up gardening (square foot method) at 40 - needed it as a stress relief during last days of hubby's mayoral campaign. You could learn to can the produce from your garden. There's also sewing, embroidery, spinning wool - heck, the girls around here do ALL KINDS of things, and everyone is so willing to help someone else learn.

| I was thinking about going back to school. Not sure yet what I want to be when I grow up. LOL. I cross stitch and I'm working on a blue jean quilt right now. I just love to try new things. So thanks everyone for the great ideas. |

Learning an instrument would be lovely. I took piano as a child and would love to re-learn that lovely music I once played so easily. Music challenges the mind and soothes the soul.
