I am having the BEST time working with the Farm to plan the 2009 Farm Fair. We are calling it BBB (Buggy, Barter & Boogie), and putting it to a 1920's theme; old cars, big band music and the likes.. Just pure FUN! It will be held July 3-5th on the Palouse on the borders of Washington and Idaho.

We have 8 of the most amazing towns that are supplying venue's to stop, shop, have fun and "get to know" their communities and people. Everyone I have met in these towns, are amazing people. They are talented, funny, friendly and thrilled that you are coming.

During my travels I have met so, so many........And over time I will really try to pre-introduce you to some, just so you can really see what I mean.

One example is Settler’s Creek. Chris and Shannon Varela~ have a darling organic farm just outside of Coeur D Alene, Idaho were we are planning to have our Sunday event..... Please check them out... and oh, leave them a message on their site letting them know that you were there, and that you are a farmgirl too......http://www.settlerscreek.com/index.php . You will see what I mean...........

Make your plans to come............there are so many things to be excited about.. I feel like I am preparing our "home" for family.. we can’t wait for your arrival.

Rene, oh how I wish I could go to this! Perhaps the next one could be somewhere down in the southern states...Hint, Hint!

Rene- Settlers Creek looks great! That area is so beautiful, what a special piece of land we get to enjoy for a day...I just decorated a jar to save money in each week until July.
I could not see where to leave a message but let them know my kids will take FULL advantage of the space they have to run and play;)
You are such a good hostess for Farm Fair.

I'm so excited! I'm going to try to bring my mom, dad, grandma, boyfriend and some siblings if they want to go. We always travel to our grandparents' house in Sandpoint, ID for the week of the 4th of July! It's perfect! I can't wait!

Miss Wilma, I probably still won't be able to drive it due to lack of strength in my arms-no power steering. Only power on that car is in the engine :) I'd like to at least drive it around the block since my name is on the title.
If I could get Larry to drive up there, which I know he won't, I wouldn't be able to have a good time with him around. Will safety pinning a photo of the 20's car qualify as theme for that era?
