I have recently descovered MaryJanes Farm. And I must say that I have fallen in love with all things MaryJane.
I am looking to join a Chapter in the Dayton,OH area. I have contacted local chapters up haven't heard back from any of them.
I was wondering if there was a virtual chapter that I could join?

Hi Carolyn!
There are lots of great virtual chapters. You can find them over at http://www.maryjanesfarm.org/HenHouseSnitz/
To join one of the virtual chapters you need to join the farmgirl Sisterhood. It's $20 a year which supplies you with an official membership certficate, and embroiderable (is that a word?!)badge that you can sew onto a jean jacket or a favorite apron. It also gives you the ability to earn Merit Badges through the farm! They are tons of fun and designed to help us expand our mental boundaries and find new and creative ways to be earth-friendly and even healthier too! Also there is a Sisterhood discount roughly each month that gives discounts on selected items ordered from the farm.

I'm puzzled.
When i try to read at the FarmGirl Henhouse
I cannot read anything, it is like it is NOT available.
So then i try to Log On
but I am not allowed.
So I try to "register" and am told that
NO New Members are being allowed.
What is up?
I am just trying to join a hen house
and i am already a Memeber of the Sisterhood.

I will try to perform an extreme accomplishment, 3-questions answered in one post.
CarolynB - Alee has you covered on the virtual chapter end. I am curious about the chapters that you applied to. Do you remember the names of the chapters that you contacted? What sometimes happens is that the Chapter Leader changes her email address and forgets to let us know about it. What I usually do is to give them a phone call to try to get an updated email from them. During the phone call I would be happy to let them know that there are potential chapter members looking to join.
Soozy-B - I have your account transferred over to the Henhouse Forum. You should have no problem logging in but you will not be able to post yet. Browse through the different Henhouses and shoot me an email at Brianogle@maryjanesfarm.org and let me know which one(s) you would like to join. I'll "give you the keys" to those Henhouses as soon as I can!
BeckySue - I replied to another thread where you mentioned not being able to log into the Henhouse Forum. I did not read your post perfectly the first time. It sounds like you can't even SEE the topics there. The first thing I would suggest is to clear out your cookies and your cache on your browser. From what I understand those can become "corrupted" for no reason at all and have the potential to affect what is displayed on your screen. If you don't know how to clear them out feel free to email me at Brianogle@maryjanesfarm.org and I would be happy to walk you through it. If that doesn't work there are a couple more things that we can look into.
There we go! Extreme accomplishment accomplished... I hope. If any of you have more questions or if I rambled so much that I made no sense let me know. I am happy to help.

One other thing is that some of the henhouses have been a bit quiet lately, so when you go to look at the henhouses, make sure at the bottom of the page it is set to show All topics, not just topics current in the last month. To do this, click on the "Project Discussions" link of each henhouse that you are interested in, and scroll to the bottom. You will see a red bar that says "Showing Topics 1-15 of X, sorted by [last post time] in [decending] order, from [all topics].
The parts in brackets [ ] are pull down menus that you can change.
Summer is busy for a lot of the farmgirls, but new posts in the henhouse will bring fresh discussions! I promise! :D
