I've wanted to do this for such a long time but I have some kind of mental block when left to my own devices in trying to create a dish. I guess I was on a roll in the kitchen today and the ingredients just popped into my head. I was so proud of myself, I took pictures of the process and put it on my blog.

That looks really yummy, I was thinking of buying the Bakeover mix today. Thank you for the inspiration! Your aprons are very cute also.

Very creative, Lisa Marie. I bet it tastes as good as it looks.
My first Bakeover was the main course. Potato and bacon bakeover. Yummy too. MB

Oh, girls, it was just divine! DH loved it, too. Whipped cream really topped it off nicely. I'm taking a piece of it to work for breakfast. One caution, though. It's very filling!

Thanks for the compliment, Patricia.

That looked so good Lisa,

I have frozen peaches in the freezer. I wondered if you don't have a bakeover pan will a stainless steal skillet work ? Also I don't have any bakeover mix. I guess I could wing that part. I am going to get my Mary Jane book out. If I remember their was a recipe for making your own mix if you didn't have one. Did you use the bakeover mix for deserts or just the biscuit kind ?
Loved the aprons !!

Linda, I used an ordinary cast iron pan. And MJ's book does have the recipe for the bakeover mix. I think I just used the biscuit kind. It doesn't have sugar in it. Oh, and thanks for the compliment! Give the bakeover a shot. You'll love it.
