Today I stopped at a new Farmers Market/Swap Meet and the gentleman that I buy produce from was set up there and unfortunately I got some very bad news! Bam Bam was stolen 2 days ago! Some of you have heard about him before, but for those of you who haven't he is a Dorset sheep! Dan runs a larger Farmers Market about 5 miles down the road and they had rescued Bam Bam earlier in the summer and I absolutely fell in love with him! I had even talked to Dan about getting some fleece when they sheared him! I am hoping and praying they find him, but I know the odds are slim!

Luna, Thank you! He wasn't mine, but I looked forward to seeing him when I went to the farmers market and now it won't be the same! I guess I really got attached to him! I am praying they do find him!

Cheryl, It's in Fort Mohave! If you know where Boundary Cone Rd. is that goes up to Oatman, the market is a few miles down the road going south!
I am hoping they find him!

Cheryl, I did remember you were from here! I don't know how long it's been there! It's part of Wakimoto Farms and they have a feed store behind the market. I didn't know it was there until I drove past it one day to go to another store to get a washer and I have been going there since May! I am pretty sure the feed store has been there a while!

Unfortunately, Bam Bam's disappearance probably won't be such an isolated incident soon, considering where our economy is headed.
I thank God I have a great Guardian dog watching over my flock and to let me know when someone is around that SHOULDN'T be!
Hopefully Bam Bam will be found alive and well and living happily with a bunch of ladies of his own kind!
