Have any of you heard of them? I'm from California so I just stumbled apon them!!!! They are a mother and her three daughters and they sing! SOOOO good! Never been really a bluegrass country music fan-but I've been converted!!! They are just as darlin-live off the grid on a farm. They have a u tube video called Green Beans In The Garden! Ya just gotta watch it! And I just got their new DVDS from Franklin Springs media on breadmaking, candlemaking and soapmaking!!! Another farmgirl must have!!! Enjoy!

Sorry, Mima. I can't seem to find them. I even tried typing in "The West Ladies" and just "West Ladies" and can't find them.

All of us are well here. The Lisa that you got to meet at the farm has left our little courthouse to go to work for the Idaho Supreme Court. Other than that, nothing new. The rest of us are looking forward to getting more sewing done now that the cold weather is here. I'm really hoping Rose finds some time to do a couple of sewing classes. I REALLY want to be able to learn how to follow a pattern and be able to make some serious stuff like pants/slacks, blouses and men's shirts, coats, dresses, etc.

Mima, that's great. I absolutely loved it! It's a perfect farmgirl Thanksgiving song. And they all harmonize so beautifully. I hope to hear more from them. Maybe they'll become famous.

Ooh, thanks, Mima! I love it, and had to pass it on to my mom. She plays the autoharp and dulcimer, as well as several other instruments of that type! She loved it too, and wants to find a cd of them!

Amazon has their CD called "Farther Along"-you can buy it or download it!!! I love it! Quite a mix of music! I find myself singing the songs in my head all the time! They are also featured in a documentary called "Inherit the Land" and they do have the new homemaking DVDs. I'm sooo inspired by thier lifestyle-would like to emulate it in my California suburban home! I'm so glad you all enjoyed it! Hugs!

I played their video for dh last night and he just loved them! I'll have to get their cd later when finances improve. I loved the way they dressed, too. It's right up my alley.
