OK, it's Official,,,Autumn is over,,,,cuz it's snowing today out here in the West Plains of Spokane Washington.
I put a couple of pic's on my blog for those of you who doubt me...

LOL Grace, I was sitting at my desk at school and saw it. I just instantly had a flashback of last year when I couldnt get the kids from school and I started to panick! Thank the Lord that its calmed down and melted over here! I gotta get my longjohns out!!!

I am so envious!! It was 75 today and the leaves have only just started to fall around here! Not to mention we hardly EVER get real snow!!! Here I am in the south - loving winter - and always disappointed! Lived in Boston for college and LOVED the winter! Dark at 4:30 and cold!!! Ah, well, I'll just read about ya'lls winter wonderland....sigh. lol

Actually Grace when I finally get a day off I am going to be calling around for prices. I couldnt handle a winter like last. I dont think I would make it!!
And yes I will be glad to send Dana some as soon as we get enough to scrape up....

Ladies, on behalf of the southeast, I would be delighted to have your share of snow! We have been in a terrible drought for almost 10 years. I just read a report that the lake that supplies water for the Atlanta area is the lowest in history. Not good. But I am an optimist and am hoping for a wet winter this year!

I was reading in the farmer's Almanac, seems they are predicting a winter like last.. Of course for us here in Central WA. that was just a lot of Grey and mud.. but you guys sure did get the snow fall, as did our cabin in the blue mountains...I think I prefer the snow and sun over the grey and mud... But I am kind of a hibernator.. like a big olf bear..... could curl up all winter long and never talk to another soul....................then come Spring... watch out!

Rene' I was affraid of that. I am stocking up for winter and whatever else our scary future holds. I HOPE and PRAY that this winter is gentler on us though.

I have air miles & I am NOT afraid to use them!!!! if we have another Winter like last years I will be visiting my mom in Palm dessert Calif...yep, i am a wussy farmgirl and don't mind admitting it!
