I am not a coffee drinker..but boy at 10 degrees this morning when I milked...that cold air will wake me right up!!! I came in and had a cup of hot herbal tea right away. Husband had the water hot by then. It has been chilly all day and husband was nice enough to do that night milking...but I get to get up early again tomorrow. I told daughter that we will milk at 7am on Saturday and Sunday for a "treat"..haha.

One thing I keep in mind to help with the getting up in the morning: "sleepy is not the same as tired". For whatever reason, it makes the early morning seem less onerous. That, and having the coffee maker on a timer...
