This is the month when we gather together to celebrate with thankfulness all that we have in our lives...

So, the November Stashaholics Challenge: same rules as before - only materials you have on hand - no new purchases to fill in any gaps. Item(s)MUST have a theme of thankfulness/gratitude. Deadline: November 26th (the day before Thanksgiving). Be sure to email me when you post your photo of your completed project, and I will send you a participation ribbon.

I must say I'm very thankful for all of my farmgirl sisters. We are a true community, and I feel very blessed to have all of you in my life!

I started mine yesterday, too. School work must come first, at this point, so I may not be done in time (hope I am, though!). I was looking at some items I had that would have worked for Halloween when I realized they'd work for Thanksgiving, too.

I just found some cool orange fabric in my stash and I also have some pretty autumn ribbon, buttons, and other embellishments...Hmmmmm, a tote bag maybe, or placemats, or ??? The possibilities are endless. I'm definitely in!!

Ann, thanks for the sweet words. I feel blessed to have my farmgirl family as well!

Materials:
Silk flowers and floral foam
Mini loaf pan (bought at Michael's last Halloween for pumpkin bread giveaways - they have them all the time for $1)
Yellow cardstock and stickers, glue dots
Toothpicks and bamboo skewers

I'm not sure how well you can read it, but the little yellow cardstock flowers spell out Happy Thanksgiving. I arranged the other flowers around the letters.

Thanks! And I had it all in my stash - I mean craft - room! DD and I had gone to a demonstration a little over a year ago at Michael's for a silk floral arrangement in a cornucopia basket. Of course we bought 2 baskets and enough flowers, etc to do both. Well, she did hers for the county fair this year (2nd place I might add), which still left enough for me to do a basket arrangement for my office and then some. This arrangement was done with the "then some".

Can't wait to see everyone else's!

Here is one of my "funky primitive art "tribal dancer dolls. She is a thanksgiving blessing doll. I havent named her yet. Cant decide if I will keep her or not . I made her all from stuff I had stashed around .Her hair is scrap pieces of yarn that i combined and crocheted in a chain.

Ann and Lisa, Great jobs on both! I had an idea last year of something I wanted to make for Thanksgiving and I never got the chance so I may just have to hunt around and see if I still have the supplies and make it!

I dug out the potwarmers and doiley I made last year. All the colors go together actually. What is everyone else working on for turkey day ??? I think I need more of a life or less stress. I am crafting WAY too much the last few weeks.
