I went to the thrift yersterday and picked up a few things. I posted pictures. Probably be outside some today, the weather is pretty mild and the leaves are running amock. They are very late in falling this year. We will be raking at Christmas. Guess I will make a ham and scalloped potato dinner today, I can just pop that whole thing right in the oven. And, I would like to finish an embroidery I'm working on. How many hours are in a day??

Once again, you maDE OUT LIKE A BANDIT. I ADMIT I DID FALTER TODAY AND ALLOWED MYSELF TO BE LURED INTO THE LOCAL GOODWILL.Whoops, sorry about the capitals, I keep hitting that button by mistake. I am too exhausted to take pictures at the moment, maybe tomorrow. I got seven books, a few soup bowls and cereal bowls (I have been smashing dishes lsately, not on purpose), a Maine state plate, a Washington D>C> plate and my daughter bought me one of those goofy mother plates, all encrusted with roses and gilt trim The 99 cant wonders. Susannah found a really cute summer dress, brand new for 7 bucks, of course she'll have to wait until next July to wear it. A great time was had by both of us. Had to go to the store to get some pectin, I don't like to cook the pear butter down too much, but I don't want it to be syrup, though I am sure it would be excellent on pancakes.
The store where I used to sell some things recently moved from cute little seaside town to end of the dirt road. I went over today to get some things of mine and when I have the energy I guess I will put them in my etsy store....couldn;t hurt, as they say around here. I wish you lived closer Nancy Jo, I would just invite myself over for supper, ham and scalloped potatoes is one of my favorites...
Well enough blather from me, I've got to dig a few more empty jam jars out of my pantry. A wonderful mild day here too, a nice surprise...

cute things, NancyJo! You always have fun at the thrift. I went with my dd and we found lots of warm clothes for the little ones and at very good prices too.
