I guess the fall weather is making me crafty. I can't seem to stop making things. Anyway posted a picture of today's frenzy.
Going now and read those old 1945 Home Companion magazines I got at a sale a while back. I bet there are a lot of really nice pictures in them I could cut out for making my cards, but I don't know if I want to cut them up. Its a dilemma!!

I love your leaves. I collected a few to press. I think I'm going to modge podge them on some paper and frame them. I should have started earlier when the colors were better, oh well. And your cards look great, they are what inspired me to make some Halloween cards. I better get started on some Christmas ones, I always wait too long and never get them finished....

I wonder if you coat dried leaves with white glue if they would all crunble, I might try that just to see,I think I saw on another site where they were all over the outside of a lamp shade, Looked real pretty when the light was on. Not sure if that was done with a white glue of some kind of spray stuff. The leaves dried perfect in the phone book, took about a week. I put a heavy tool box on top of the book. I'm going to collect a whole bunch and put in there for future use since they came out so nice.

Nancy I love your blog! Your home looks so inviting!
I'm loving the cards! I need inspiration. I have a ton of turn of the century cards and postcards from my MIL as well as a ton of vintage cookbooks. I want to use the images on these treasures, but not destroy the originals. Any ideas?

Dana,
Just make copies of anything you want to use and then you can save the good ones. My printer has a copier in it so I just put any old thing in there and print it on cardstock.

Well, that makes sense! Could I scan and print handkerchiefs? I have printed on fabric before with the printer...hmmmm. Now my juices are flowing!
Thanks!
