We are back from Missouri after a long day's drive. Had to make a stop in Paducah to see the National Quilt Museum though.
Our soldier has graduated, and is now in Monterey, CA where he will be learning Farsi at the Defense Language Institute. I knew I should have bought that English-Farsi dictionary at the PX!!!
It was a lovely tme, full of hugs and sight-seeing and catching up, meeting his drill sargeants, etc. We popped over to Lake of the Ozarks and went through Bridal Cave. Oh, my gosh, it is the best cave I've ever toured. Beautiful. I'll have posts on my blog sometime later today. I have to go do some laundry now. :)
It's nice to be home.

Were you allowed to take pics at the National Quilt Museum? I'd love to see pics of that as well as the cave pics. Oh, and best wishes for your son. You must be so proud.

Hi Karin, I didn't know there was a National Quilt Museum, sounds like fun, and congrats to you and your son. And thoughts and prayers to all our soldiers.

Greetings from the morning side of the hill.

Hi sweet Karin - many congrats and well-wishes to your son. I'm sure if he is anything like his sweet momma- he is a DANDY!!! So glad you had a safe and enjoyable trip! Blessings, Cathy
