I think it is time to put up the summer clothes. One of the things that makes us run the heat higher is wearing short sleeves and shorts inside. Time to match up the socks, put away the flip-flops, and pull out the boots!
Nora got her first pair of winter boots on Sunday. They are so cute and go up almost to her knees. Black with grey mottled fake fur on the inside, tops and down the sides with fake lacings to make them look like rustic winter moccasins with a sole. I think they are adorable!
I have been doing the same thing. Got the snow boots by the front door ready for the next batch of snow. The light throws are on the chairs and the portable heater is ready for that next cold night while watching TV.
I got out the rubber boots to bring food to the goats last week. For work wear, I already drug out the 3/4 and full length sleeve sweaters,long pants and closed toe'd shoes. For home wear, I still waer the old faithful work out shorts, hey what can I say? I am in my late forties, am a female.....
