These I did for the S/A Just Because It's Friday Challenge...

You can check out materials/descriptions over there.

Then...

The seed packet on the far right isn't included with all the info on the other thread, but it is made from paper, ivory cardstock, and red rickrack that I pirated from a handmade greeting card I received for Valentine's day.

got my doll made for the doll swap and is 100% stash items! yoo hoo....just had to report that my sweet mom is not making it easy! I canceled all catalogs, etc that were/are my downfall and she stuck one in a magazine (b & h)that my sister sent to me...argh....when i mentioned to her that i was still doing "stashbusting"...she laughed...which reminds me, i need to throw that thing away!
oh, Lisa, love love love the wild women pincushions...felt like holding one the other night in my chair and my dog which usually jumps in my lap (alot) would not come up! hehehehe , that's one way to get some work done...:)

I did this up today out of scrap denim. I am going to turn it into a small pillow once the glitter paint is dry. You cant tell in the pic..but there are 3 tiny brass chinese dragons amongst the bead flowers.

I used the round beads that you gave me. My cats actually love them and they have one i let them keep that they bat and chase all over the house. So that gave me the idea to dangle them from the little bag :P I am having fun doing these little scrap fabric projects while i am watching babylon 5 dvds ...

I'm LynnMarie and I have been a Stashaholics a loooooong time (shhhh! 40 years).
I couldn't find a barter page for us Stashaholics Anonymous gals; is there one?
I'd love to see what everyone else has to trade.

Well, thank goodness! Someone finally named my syndrome...stashaholic is thy name! LOL
I am afraid I too, am addicted to crafting, and like most crafters, I have an extensive list of craft items-materials, two sewing machines, books galore, about a hundred different kinds of threads, bead-making supplies, patterns that range from cross-stich books to stuffed rabbits...hmm, wonder what I did with the cow ones? Anyway, this forum has inspired me to get real, and get my rear in gear to get organized, I guess...heading to my crafting cabinet now...parting is such sweet sorrow. Does anyone have some tylenol? In all seriousness however, the bartering sounds like a true winner!

Smile-oh yea, you will still get wrinkles, but at least they will be wrinkles worth seeing!

Welcome, LynnMarie, from a fellow Illinois Farmgirl!

Lisa is right - I think most of us just use the MJ's barter board here. Like her, I have a list on my blog of stuff I'm looking for.

Well hello Ann in Illinois. : )

I always check the barter board but I wondered if there will be a "Special Place for us Stashaholics Anonymous"?

Is anyone interested in a "craft box swaparound" for us Stashaholics Anonymous Gals?
That way we could take out what we could use and put in the same amount of items that we want to get rid of; things we want to pass on.

I traded Mima for her plaid fabric and I have started sewing on it today. I am making grocery tote bags at the moment. They will all be the same and i have 6 cut out to stitch up today. It is a very heavy fabric and I am doubling it also. They should last about forever. Will be perfect for any canned goods from the grocery or picking garden produce this summer .

Here is a kitty balnkie i made. I like to keep little blankies to lay over their cat beds. It is a deep orangyish yellow fabric but my camera isnt gettting a true color . For some reason oranges and purples never take to true color for me on this camera. Orangish yellow artic fleece i got in a local barter last week..embroidery thread ( used to blanket stitch ) was a barter 2 weeks ago..and the blue fleece was some of soap mommy's fleece scraps. So i guess i used "short term " stash :P

I ended up doing 3 in these colors. Then instead of stashing the orangish fabric back away...I passed it along to a girlfriend so she can have fun with it . What has everyone been working on ??? Today starts my work schedule ...... I miss my craft stuff already :P
