I have some glass etching cream that I bought two years ago and used a tiny bit of it to etch some glasses I was giving my sister for Christmas. It worked beautifully, but now I have this big container of it left (not even 1/4 used!) and I don't have any urge to etch anything else!
It is called Armour etch and I bought it online at Joann.com a few years ago, it looks just like it did when I bought it (minus a bit) It was originally 3 oz, now a bit less.

I'd love to barter it for something. What am I looking for? Well, I'd really like things that I can use for my husband for Christmas gifts, but if not, I'm pretty open to just about anything. Let me know!

No interest? It's really easy to use. I bought glasses and etched her initial onto the set. Made a great gift. It's easy, you just cut the design you want to etch out of contact paper and apply it to the glass, then fill in the space with the cream, let it set, wash it off, and voila! Done!

Sheila; I could use the etching cream. Would you please check and see if it has turned from white and creamy to a crystalized brown or blackish color. I've had some that changed and then it wouldn't etch. I make fused glass jewelry and Christmas ornaments and I have fabric - don't know about anything you could use for your husband's present but I'd love to work out a trade. Sage :)

Hi Pam, It's an off-white color and seems to be the same consistency it was when I used it. I think it'll be just like new. If you want it, it's yours, and whatever you want to trade for it will be just fine with me! Let me know!

Sheila; It does sound like it is still good. If you like jewelry just let me know your favorite colors and I could send a fused glass pendant. The glass Christmas ornaments are snowflakes, trees or wreaths. I also have fabric and lace if you want supplies for projects. Sage :)

Hi Sage/Pam--I feel kind of dumb admitting this, but I have no idea what fused glass pendants are. . .however, I understand it's jewelry worthy. . .I have an 8 year old daughter who is VERY into jewelry, especially kind of different things, not "run of the mill" types. So, sure!! email me with your address and I'll send it out!

Sheila; sounds great! I'll need your address also and your daughters favorite color. I don't have picutres to post yet (my camera won't cooperate with the close ups needed). If you do an internet search you'll see lots of examples. Sage :)

My daughter pretty much likes ANY color--really makes it easy on me--she likes a lot of color and wears them all together! I'll send the etching cream out tomorrow if the kids soccer games are rained out; otherwise I'll send it early next week. Glad someone can use it!
