I've decided to get my big old opinions and criticism of "she who shall not be named" until the cows come home. I began to have headaches!!

So here's to a day of silence for Frannie.....

and a day of gratitude.

oh jo .. that is exactly what it is all about (at least that is my personal belief) .. if we fill our lives full of GRATEFULNESS .. soon there is NO room for unkindness or even judgement and criticism of those that we have let STAND OUR HAIR ON END! HA! that is something that WE do to OURSELVES (i've often IN THE PAST been guilty of being the POT that called the KETTLE ... BLACK! NO MORE!

and Darlin' .. you don't have to be silent .. just be JOYOUS! for every unkind thought we start to have (and it is understandable .. we are human .. but i also believe to be FULLY human and loving .. we must learn to CATCH ourselves before we spew 'venom' into the universe .. cuz' i SWEAR .. it will turn around .. grab onto more negativity and slap us right in our unhappy faces! We may not KNOW that is happening .. but the 'law of attraction' which has been written about by very, very wise people long before we were even a 'twinkle in our daddy's eye' .. have expounded on it .. WHY does it seem to take some of us so very long to 'get it' .. and turn totally towards happiness?

i remember a story of long ago .. when my eldest daughter .. who HATED a girl she had gone to school with ... saw this young woman walking across a bridge that we were driving across. Her lips snarled up .. and i saw such disdain in her eyes .. as she muttered something unkind.

I stopped at the other end of the bridge and pulled off onto a side road .. and turned to my dear daughter .. and with all the love i could muster .. told her that this girl did NOT hear her .. did NOT know she still held such hatred for her .. may well have 'changed' in all those years .. and that the ONLY people she hurt was HERSELF .. and 'me' .. that she harboured such dislike for someone she had not seen in several years. I told her that it was SHE who carried all this anger and ire all this way into the future of her life.

WHY do we do this to ourselves? and to each other?

The book i just read (The Shack) .. is a very good one for helping us to see about 'forgiveness' .. for US .. for the person we do not like .. and for the almight good of the universe and humankind.

I 'PROMISE' .. i do not mean to sound 'preachy' .. as i know that turns some people off .. and can sound judgemental .. HEY .. i ain't castin' no stones gurlfrenz .. cuz' i don't want the windows of my soul broken by returned BOULDERS! i can only share my thoughts of goodness and hope that they land on fertile ground. and THAT is what i wish RETURNED to me by the Universe.

you are a sweetie jo .. i've liked you since the very first time i met you here on the forum. xoxo

Silence and counting ones blessings is the way to go during these tough times. I stopped whining quite awhile ago when I saw how bad things are for others. I focus on the positive only and am thankful for what I have now.

I am not much of a complainer out loud..but I do complain on the inside..and it makes me irritable and sad. I am going to work on THAT too. Thanks!
