I'm sorry if this is wrong place to post this. Really am not sure to put it, but here goes.

Every year during the holidays I love to make candies. I start around Thanksgiving and go through Christmas. This year I have some out-of-state friends I would love to send some goodies.

How do you send goodies through the mail and have them arrive safely?

Thanks,
Melanie

Hi Melanie, I'm not sure how to send candy out-of-state but people do it somehow! I would start by checking at your local post office. We have a very small post-office here and the postmaster has been incredibly helpful with my sometimes incredibly humerous questions on shipping! In fact...I'll be there in acouple days, I'll try to remember to ask him (I'm curious myself now!)

I pack goodies in pretty little boxes or baggies and put that inside a shipping box with foam peanuts (if I have them) or shredded paper. Just pack the shipping box well enough that nothing moves after you close it. If they can't bang around in the box it will arrive just perfect.
