I was in a local consignment shop today and saw a cute picture frame that was made out of decopauge and had a small piece of plexi glass nailed on it to hold your photo. It was 6 X 6 X 2 lumber decopauged with antique maps and things little brackets where added as feet and then the plexi glass. Anyone seen these anywhere with directions

No....but I love to decoupage! Sounds interesting....but you can take actual frames and decoupage them without having to build a frame out of lumber. I'm not sure I am picturing the plexiglass part of it.....how do you get the picture behind it?

Oh Karen...WELCOME!!! I just noticed you are new here! I hope you like it and keep posting!!!! Isn't Ashville where the Biltmore Estate is? I went there with friends on a road trip one time and although I loved it and it is a MOST beautiful part of the world...I had my head down in the backseat for a lot of the trip because I am scared to death of heights and we were traveling that Appalachian highway and up about 6,000 feet and my hands are sweating right now just thinking about it! But BEAUTIFUL!!!! And we went right about this time of year too. And to think you live there! I guess I never did go to the town of Ashville...just the estate. How big is the town itself? I have a cocktail book about the estate sitting...where else but on my cocktail table! LOL! So, welcome, welcome and I know you will love it here...at least I hope so!
