Okay, finally...I've been running around ALL day today! Checking that list of things to be done off ONE by ONE!
Here's more shots of the little apartment interior, the hallway of the barn, my original drawing of my little house & barn, my husband's 3D Sketchup drawing of my barn, and a beautiful photo he took of the sandy path with wildflowers on either side that is on the way to the lake...

Glory, It is absolutely a beautiful place and I know you will find the right person! I think it is just lovely and if I didn't live all the way over in Arizona and thought my hubby would go for it I would move in a heartbeat! I am so glad to hear how particular you are in who to rent/sell to! Good luck!

Well, a little update on the Mississippi farm!
Back in August while there we put up 7 wireless cameras to keep an "eye" on things while we were away...and oh my! Things are certainly interesting! Those little cameras are awesome! They are so tiny now, and even have night vision! And so easy to install!
I highly recommend them...especially if you have people trespassing illegally on your property!
One thing for sure...it is simply impossible to refute this kind of evidence in the courtroom...

This is absolutely beautiful! What a great vision and wonderful husband you have! I'm sorry for what you must be going thru in thinking of releasing this dream! What I see as I look at the photos is a destination wedding spot and dream farm. So many times when I see large farms in this area, I can't help but to wonder about the chemicals surrounding the residence.

What a beautiful place you have and such wonderful ideas! My husband use to plow with his draft horse, I'd love a whole team of them! I can't bare to look at the pictures anymore - Mississippi is a long ways from Michigan!!! I wish you luck finding just the right person though and hopefully you have stopped your tresspassers and they haven't done any damage!

An update...
Trespassers were caught on video and the law will deal with them soon! After the hearing, when I post the video footage on YouTube, I'll put the link in the post so you all can view it~
What fun it is to watch* It's sure to bring a chuckle and maybe a thigh slap or two!

I've been out of town taking care of business!
Thanks for the feedback.
We were thinking in the $300's K range.
It's a great place!
I see a CSA, a spiritual retreat or a hunting/fishing camp...
While down there last... we planted a "willow sanctuary" that is growing rapidly alongside the lake... pliant boughs arching together to make a living green enclosure.
