Found a good spot for some of my little oil lamps. I have several bigger ones around the house, but was looking for a good place for some of the baby ones that I seem to be collecting.
Buy the way that Pumpkin cake I made yesterday is a keeper. everyone liked it. So I copied it on one of those little cards for my recipe box. You know there isn't a lot of room to write on those, I used to write them down in a note book but I really wanted to use a recipe box.Soooooo I write real small. That will come in real handy in a few years when my eyesight starts to go.

Nancy Jo, those wee oil lamps look cute there, gathered around the "momma." You "museum" is real cute. I love the pics you post of it. The picture and the decorations are so nice in that photo. You sure know how to compose a "still life." Thanks for sharing with us. You inspire me. FarmGirl Hugs, J

Do you actively ever use the lamps? We have oil lamps that get used every fall and winter. Once the sun goes down the lights go off and the lamps come on.

Yes, we use the bigger ones once in awhile. For sure when the power goes out. They are great on the picnic table in the evening, seems to help with the bugs.
Thank you Judy for you nice comments.

They look great there, the parental lamps and all the babies. I remember using oil lamps years ago, but I haven't ever seen so many cute little ones. And the artwork on the wall is lovely too...

The lamps look very pretty together like that Nancy. A very sweet vignette!
(Thank-you for posting the recipe too, I am planning on making it next week.)
