Any one else subscribe to any?

I have seen them online for a while now, I knew that Aus always had more Embroider magazines then we do here in the USA. We mainly seem to have cross stitch mags.

Any way, when I went to Barnes and Noble the other day they had a Aus embroidery mag, I picked it up and it's GREAT! I am going to pick up a few more over the next few months, if I continue to like it I want to try to subscribe to it.

Does any other americans subscribe to aus embroidery magazines, if so which ones?

Heather I subscribe to Inspirations, I love it so full of beautiful things. You are so right the the Aus magazines have more embroidery, I am always frustrated with the magazines that we get here only having cross stitch. Anyway the Inspirations Magazine is well worth the price.

Heather, I've found that most of the sewing machine (and vac) shops keep the Aussie magazines in stock..if you have any shops around you then you might find several others that you like too!

Oh, how I love to "enable" others to seek more creative material..LOL

WOW thanks Stephanie I will check that out.

I was actually referring to Country Threads. Although I've been wondering about Inspirations as well! I'll have to check it out more too.

I love it.

I wish we had more in the USA about embroidery too. I know there is at least 20 American Cross stitch mags! lol

Heather, they carry back issues and current ones for sale at Creative Smocking! Their site is www.smocking.com. A lot of times they have really good prices on the back issues and they only charge exact shipping! I have never heard of Country Threads so I will have to check that out!

I love the Australian magazine "Handmade". It has different types of crafting such as: sewing, decorative painting, quilting, knitting, crocheting,embroidery...just a real variety of handmade items in each issue plus a few yummy recipes. I find it randomly at the local bookstore, but it's a real treat when I do!
