what magazine dearie? my chilluns were featured in maryjane's first issue that went 'public' ... i haven't been up to the bookstore to get my second issue yet. xo
The newest one, Oct/Nov. It's just a little pic, of the dollies face. It's an article about what it means to be a Farmgirl and about the authors trip to MJ's farm.
oh elise .. i've jus' gotta' get a copy and take a peek! i know some of the farmgirls had a dolly class .. sooo .. .mayhaps it might be one of their chilluns .. but i also know that the gurlz at maryjane's farm have a buncha' my little rag chillun .. soooo .. it might be one of those!

oh chris .. little Rosabel sure is still homeless .. i heard a little 'sniffle' come from the 'keeping room' ... so i checked in on her .. and i swear .. i think i saw a tear (which she quickly wiped when i walked up to her ... she always puts on such a brave face!) .. but after some milk and cookies she broke down and cried and told me she was sooooooooo lonely .. and wished she had a momma to love her!

Kentucky Frannie, are you still making the dolls? They are so cute! I have been checking your blog for a long time and never saw any ones not taken. I really think I have to have one as I am now about to have another grandchile (1st for my daughter) and my others are 15 and 16. So it will be so fun to have a little chile around again. She is due in May so there is some time yet. Prays for you each night, Karen
hey sweetie .. i actually cut out about a dozen dollie bodies TODAY while sitting in town and enjoying all the festivities. a bunch of us gurlz sat in the arts council booth and jus' laughed and gossipped and ate goodies .. and my fingers were flyin' with those scissors.
AND .. somewhere around here .. i have about a nother dozen all cut out .. jus' can't seem to find them.
haven't actually made a dolly since early june when our latest little granddaughter arrived .. and we've been running the roads between here and toledo.
they do tend to find momma's pretty fast for which i am grateful .. and i do love making them. i'll surely be announcing their arrival when i see some more coming down the hill to the foundling home.
still have to sew them up .. then 'stain' them .. then sew their little parts together .. then make clothes for them .. then dress them and embellish them .. and of course, faces and hair too! it will probably be about a month i'm thinkin'.
