My husband has a package of caramel rolls that he really wants and as you might know, our power was out because of Hurricane Ike. Our refridgerator pretty much stayed cool up until the power came on. We had kept a bunch of ice in it and froze blocks of hard ice before the power went out in preperation. We did have to throw some things out but some things stayed pretty well. The caramel rolls are like the packaged biscuits you get. They were very close to the ice. I don't want him getting sick on TOP of everything we just went through ...so what is your thoughts on it being safe to make now that the power is back on?

I would go ahead and make them if they don't smell spoiled.

The roll probably would have popped open if there was any bacteria in there that would cause you to get sick. It sounds like the it was kept cold enough. Plus you will be baking them so they should be fine!
