I have a bunch of hop vines. A non-profit I'm on the board for wants me to harvest some of the hops for a display next summer. I've no idea how to do it and dry them properly. Do you harvest just the "cones" or do you harvest the vine with hop cones? I have no idea. Any help would be most appreciated!
What kind of hops do you grow? There are 3 varieties available thru Pinetree Garden Seeds that I've looked at. I'm interested in growing some for floral arrangements. There is a great site/shop that I came across thru a magazine. Cindy, the owner, uses hops in alot of her arrangements. She also just featured a video on creating a table arrangement using hops. Do you think hops would grow in northern CA? I was looking for something about like that for in my yard to use in arrangements. Not a beer person so just for pretty. thanks Becky
