Hurricane Alert Again...my offer still stands for anyone who needs to get away. I think we might get some of the hurricane this time around. We are 180 miles from the coast but my offer still stands.

(((HUGS))) to all and I will keep praying...

Heather, we might be getting some of that hurricane rain, from what the Statesman website currently predicts. Up to six inches, and 60 MPH winds!

You funny!!! We have a birthday party planned for Sunday at Bergfeld Park in Tyler. My little niece who lives with us is turning 3. We had our family party on her actual day....and have a party with little friends planned for Sunday. Gonna call Chucky Cheese as soon as they open and see what they can offer. I've also heard of a place called "Bounce Out"....but have never been. I'll check that out too.
Hold on to your hats ladies.....

Ciao, Kate

I love the Berg...they have "Park Playdates" there, so we're there a lot! Hope that it works out for the party!

DH was watching all the news about it and they "say" that it will be like the bad one in the 1900's where it went on the other side of 35 and now it's going to be more on this side of 35. Not sure what that means. I am sure high winds, tornadoes and such. Praying for everyone in the path.

They are saying it's going to be like the bad one of 1900?????
Oh shoot! Poor Galveston... It needs a break and it's just picking up again!

But I'm in Houston, and my sister is in League City ... Her boyfriend she is with wants to ride it out unless it's a 5 ... Aggh, I'm nervous for her. She's in a mandatory evacuation area. I am not ..
