Raining here today. Radar looks like we are getting some of the outer bands of the hurricane. I had planned to work outside this a.m. but rain and wind. Really cool, would be a nice day to work. So I gress I'll drink my coffee and get to work on tomatoes.

Today I'll be doing laundry, painting the closet I cleared out for my craft closet, and do some general decluttering. We'll be getting rain soon from the remains of Gustav, and tomorrow they say we could get over 3" of rain.

Hey Farmgirls, we are getting rain here too : ). Took care of the chickens so I'll be spending the rest of the day in my workshop working on some orders. Maybe staighten out my quilting station on a break. Just joined a quilting block of the month here on MJ's. I need to look through my stash of fabrics.

Cut up some apples that a neighbor let me have all I want, cook em down to make jelly later. The kitchen will smell so good on this cool and rainy morning. I'm just going to get the juice for now , freeze then make the jelly another day.

Might make me some potato soup for lunch.

Oh an I might just walk on the trails later, rain or no rain. The canopy of trees makes for not getting to wet : )

PS to KY Frannie. I have MJ mag, the one with your rag dolls. I'll have to get one of them later when your making a few up, put me on the list for adopting one. Might give it a try making one up with the directions in your artical. They are darling. But I really would like to have one you made for my Outpost. Do you sign your dolls?

Have a Good Farmgirl Day

Frannie- Right now I am teaching a group of women from the Atlanta Ward of our church. This is class 5 (we meet every other week) and they are doing so well!! It's a hoot. Tonight we are breaking up into teams and each team will construct a sentence for the other team to sign. It should be pretty darn hilarious. The last class is a treat for all their hard work- I am making dinner, but there is a catch. They have to sign the things they want and if they can't do the sign, they don't get the item. I wonder how many will remember the sign for plate? ;) I am evil.
I'd be glad to do a little signing session at the gathering. Maybe they could learn how to introduce themselves and create a name sign.
