Well, I have to thank you so much for a wonderful time with you last week!
Farmgirl sisters, I met Debi (debinmtns)when I went to visit my grandparents in northern Idaho last week. We set up a pie date at a wonderfully delicious pie place in town. She was so kind and pleasant and even brought me fabulous gifts. It was very much in the farmgirl style...she gave me a quaker oats cylinder with a white porcelain creamer cow tied with a red ribbon around it. On the inside was a lovely array of quilting and sewing supplies to welcome me to the wonders of sewing. I had told Debi that I was learning to sew and she started me off right! The whole experience made me so happy and proud to be a farmgirl sister. The ladies here are wonderful and nice and very giving.
Debi, I really appreciate the gift and the time getting to know you and talking with you. I had great fun and am glad to have met you.
I am going to post pictures of the gift on my blog in the coming weeks. I'll let you know when they're up.
Oh Chelsey, how lucky you are. It is something I look forward to, one day to come in this part of the States and meet with a few farmgirls who have become good friends to me and that I enjoy toalking to on MJF, Debi being one of them, just sitting and chatting and laughing and sharing. Oh and having a piece of chocolate to hehehe Please post pictures. Corinne
