I know it has only been a week (tomorrow) but I can surely feel your prayers.
You see... I haven't been able to stick to a program for longer than a few weeks for 14 years. Even during those few weeks all I could think about was food. I was never satisfied. I was always focusing on the food. Food shopping several times a week. tons of food prep. Always thinking about the next meal. etc...
This time around I am at peace. I am satisfied. My obsession with food is non existent. I feel great. So content. And it is so overwhelming- this feeling of peace that I know it is because of your prayers.
Thank you all who have been praying for me daily. I know my children will thank you as well.. since their mom is getting healthier and healthier.

Blessings, Debra

Debra, I missed your original post but I am so glad to hear that things are going well for you with the weight release. I am in the same boat with you with quite a bit of weight to get rid of and it sounds like we have similar issues with food. I wish you all the best with this and if you even need a listening ear of some other support don't hesitate to email me!

Elizabeth, I will be lifting you up in prayer. God wants us to be healthy so we can serve Him better in all the things we do each day. I am so thankful for all who have been praying for me. It is only by God's strength that I am 1 week in to my program.

Blessings, Debra

thank you all for your continued prayers. I haven't weighed in a while- I have been very sick but God is doing a work. It is funny.. I started this thinking I had to eat a certain way to get this weight off- after a week or so God was leading me back to something so simple yet the enemy doesn't want you to see it. Eating like a thin person. Not being focused on food, being focused on life. Eating only when hungry and not gorging or binging. Just a small amount as if I was already thin.. I have a lot to learn but God is taking me by the hand. I appreciate all of your prayers.. I am going to need them more than ever.

Debra, it's true... it doesn't have to be a 'diet'...just a change in your habits... that's one thing I learned while on weight watchers... I was on it and lost 30 lbs or so .. I was eating alot of the same things but just smaller portions and better decisions... When it finally "clicks", it works... *HUGS* God is definitely speaking to you!

Courge is feat that has said it's prayers! You can do this. I just know it. You are meant to be a healthy, vibrant young woman full of vim and vinegar! Yes, more than you have right now even! I'll keep praying for you! Hope you feel better from being sick. Hugs, Susan
