Started with me sitting at the table cutting hot peppers for the dehydrator or the freezer. got a case of poblanos in the dehydrator, the case of serrano peppers in the dehydrator and some in the freezer. I got some jalepeno peppers in the dehydrator and in the freezer with about 15-20 more lbs of jalepenos in the pantry. they will also get dehydrated but I ran out of space. then chopped up a half of case of bell peppers and have them in freezer- the rest I will do tomorrow or Sunday.
Then the kids got to cleaning and we will chipped in- we got the whole house done- everything unpacked except for 6 boxes of china, teacups, teapots etc.. I will do that on Sunday. The house is finally done! yay! I buffed the table up to a nice shine, the whole house got dusted and vacuumed.
When hubby called I fibbed and told him to not expect a clean house we were too busy with the littles.. he was sooo shocked. We all sat down at our table for a nice dinner. I am so very relieved that the house is done. This was such a thorn in my side the last month- with packing and then unpacking.
direct tv is coming on Monday morning. the kids are excited to have something to watch other than the 4 local channels that don't come in very well. things should be more peaceful this winter.. We didn't think we would need it when we moved to Nevada.. we should have gotten it right away as it took so long for the kids to get used to the climate. the boys now live outside. but we all miss our shows. I love the antiqueing, decorating and cooking shows.
Tomorrow Eimi and I will go do our major shopping in Reno. A long day so I am off to rest.
Hope you all had a wonderful day!

Blessings, Debra

Brooke, thank you so much for noticing. Ya, I am pretty surprised myself.. I can feel everyone's prayers for me and I know that is making a difference. Remember I did the same program before- 15 years ago and lost 75 lbs in 8 months. but when I did it last time I did it very unhealthily. I ate no veggies or fruits. As a young bride I didn't buy fruits and veggies other than onions and garlic. I ate tons of refined flour pasta and drank a 2 liter of diet pepsi each and every day. So this time, same program- eating tons of veggies, fruits, no pasta, lots of potatoes, and no dp. I can't wait to see how it effects my losses

Thank you Susan. I know it is the prayers of all my farmgirl sisters! I feel it every day! Thank you all!
Today was a busy day. We did our major shopping in Reno- an hour away.. It is always a big day.
So.. we went to Winco and loaded up on canned beans, produce, and some dry beans. oh and tons of potatoes!
We were hungry afterwards as you have to bag all of your own groceries there and we had 2 carts full! So we headed to Whole Foods- they just opened a huge new store with outside seating. So we went in and ordered a brick oven pizza- all the veggies they had minus the olives and cheese. While we were waiting we looked around the store. We got a ton of spring roll wrappers as I can't find them locally- like 400 of them. I also got some baked tortilla chips for when we are in a hurry (I like my homemade ones but sometimes you need a quick meal). We picked out some precut watermelon and a big water. Then the pizza! oh my goodness. He knocked off $2 off the pizza because of the no cheese. It was soooo good- spinach, tomatoes, artichoke hearts that they tell me was just marinated in a vinegar base, red and yellow bell peppers.. It was so good. A whole wheat crust that was nice and crispy. It was very flavorful.
So for less than $20 we got a very nice filling meal for 3.
Off to Sam's club- got bananas and cleaning supplies. the waffle iron that I was looking for wasn't there. So off to Walmart and only a itty bitty waffle iron so I got a panini press. It worked wonderfully but it took over an hour to feed my family- so I need to get another panini press or a bigger waffle iron- that way I can do 2 batches at once.
I am tired and worn out. ready for bed. It was a good day. I was not tempted at all.
hope you all had a great day!

Blessings, Debra
