hank called me outside to visit with JAKE the SNAKE!
the middle of his belly .. looks like he jus' ate a mouse family!
he is about five feet long! you shoulda' seen Cabin and Creek leaping back and forth over him .. they didn't even SEE him! Lordy! i hope he's jus' an 'ole COW SNAKE! (can anyone tell by looking at the picture!) Lordy! he was hard to see in the grass .. and i'm out there alla' time with my bare toesies stickin' outta' my shoes! i jus' left him alone after his 'kodak' moment!
after all .. the critters were here FIRST! now .. ef'fen i see a "piziniss" one afore he sees me .. i'm gonna' learn to shoot a gun!
i think he'd like to crawl up the jeans legs of all of us that might have a mouse up there! but .. i think i'd rather have the MOUSE! xoxo
i'm PRAYING that i don't have mice since i hung all those 'sunflower seed heads' to dry .. i WILL be looking for empty seed shells on the floor .. at which point! they go into a METAL container!! i tried outside .. but the squirrels had a BUFFET! xo
