Hi farmgirls! I'm glad you are all so enthusiastic!! The Farmgirl Campout will take place Sat. evening, July 1st, 2006. It will be held during our third annual Farm Fair July 1st and 2nd right here at MaryJanesFarm, located seven miles outside of Moscow, ID. Moscow is about 85 miles south of Spokane, WA and Coeur d'Alene, ID. Moscow is in the northern "panhandle" of Idaho, a good 300 miles north of Boise and Idaho Falls. When I first moved to northern Idaho, I drove 10 hours down to Idaho Falls to take my Dental Hygiene State Board Exam! Idaho is a long state!!
I wish that all of you lived close enough to join us!! I will update all the details on The Farmgirl Campout Conventions section. Click on the "How to Start your very own Farmgirl Chapter" bubble next to the darling little farmgirl on the Farmgirl Connection home page. Then click on Farmgirl Campout Conventions at the top of the page!
Thank you all for being farmgirl at heart friends!!
sunnily yours,

Oh I hope I can be there at the camp out. Though DH is going to be with me, I wonder what I should do with him since this is a girly thing?! Very excted about the new issue coming out. I am kind of wondering though...About the one year subscription thingy..Was that supposed to be for just the year or a years worth of mags? Not trying to be greedy, just wondering. The subscription was a gift from my step-mother-in-law So I was just wondering how it worked out.

Blessed Be

Oh yes Cindylou~~if it were only that easy!! All the "cheap" seats are booked..already. I even called the travel lady and she said they wont go down in price...cuz the seats are taken.. I was looking at Spokane but still at least $554 a piece...
I guess if I cant come this year...then I will put them on my Christmas list for next year and make reservations early! The 4th is on Wednesday in 2007...The farm fair would be in June if it was on the Sat before....or July 7 if after...Anyway to guess when it would be?
Did I mention...I am sooo dissapointed??

Jan ~ I do soooooo wish you could come for Farm Fair! Have you checked Expedia.com, Orbitz.com or any of the other online air fares?? Good luck! My guess is that Farm Fair 2007 would be the last weekend in June ~ we haven't thought that far ahead yet!! I'll have to see what Lucas and MaryJane think!
I'm keeping my apron strings and fingers crossed!!

Melissa -

In regards to the magazine subscriptions...it depends, if you purchased a subsricption, then that means you will receive four magazines no matter how long it takes for us to get them out. If you received our gift subscription with a $50 purchase, that subscription if for one year from the date that you purchased. The Farm Kitchen will be worth the wait! It is so wonderful with so many new recipes!

I'm saving my pennies and nickels and everything else of value...I want so bad to get up there. It's really sad, I've never traveled out of south Texas. I've been to Europe a few times, long ago, but never have seen the rest of the USA. This would be a perfect opportunity. It would be so fun to see all y'all.

Blessings
Catherine

Woo hoo! Road trip! Jenny's driving and I'm riding shotgun. Actually, more like knitting, but the idea is the same. Come one, come up to five more!

Happy Wishes!

A road trip! How wonderful! You know, ladies, since I'm just less than an hour away from Jenny, do you think you might have an extra seat (or two, in my case!)

Hey Gals....Gonna check on airfare to Jenny's. Don't give my seat away yet!! I don't need a cupholder....I drink my coffee so much that I'll just keep the cup in my hand. Or maybe I'll get one of those goofy caps that holds beer cans and has long straws, I'll just put coffee cups in it.

Blessings
Catherine

Catherine...nearest airports are either St. George (about 3 and 1/2 hours south of me) or SLC which is where Patricia is Just so you know...there arn't any other "real" airports in Utah.

Catherine, if you want to come to the SLC one we can pick you up and you can stay overnight in our guest room and be ready when Jenny swings by to pick me up the next morning.

Libbie..if you want to stay here in our guest room (hide a bed couch in the family room) the night before so we can get a real early start that would be fine too.

I'm trying desprately to convince my fiance to make the farm fair part of our honeymoon! We're going to Jackson Hole in June to go hiking for it,(which, when you're coming from Texas, is practically there) and I promised him I'd do all the fishing he wants if he'll come with me to the Fair! Maybe I'll see all you ladies there!

Jenny - that would be great! I am figuring out how to break the news to my spouse and babe - I can't wait! I'm figuring out just what I'm going to use for my oh-so-maternity apron...a single person tent, maybe?
