I've wanted a pair of red cowboy boots since I was born. Finally found 'em at the thrift store. As with most thrift purchases, it felt like fate. Except that they didn't fit. But this is no problem for a crafty girl like me. I just won't wear them for long periods of time! I'll wear them for five minute incriments over a span of years and stretch them perfectly over time. After attempting this way too many times already (wearing them means walking like a marionette, not bending my legs or putting pressure on an specific part of my foot!) I've decided that I could let go...if I had the right pair to replace them with. Anyhow, they're a size 3 (kids) which is equivalent to a size 5 in womens. Anyhow, my shoe size is a 5/5 and a half/six. If anyone has some new to fairly newish boots in red...or teal or some other fun color. Let me know, and I just might trade. Email me for pictures.
Love,
Judes
PS I really love these so please don't be offended if i am particular about what i trade them for.

Hello fellow thrift shopper. I to love the thrill of finding one of a kinds at thrift shops and like you I've made purchases unaware of size (basing the purchase merrily on fashion). I dearly wish I had some fabulous boots to trade but I'm sorry I don't. But like all great boots they take time to find and find you will!! Enjoy your search.....and please keep us posted.
Much Luck to you,
Kate

Thanks Kate! I re-read my post and felt selfish for being so particular about what I would exchange them for...it's just that they are cowgirl boots!...and they're red! :) And even if they don't fit..they are so fun to look at. They actually fit (kinda) when I first got em, but my feet grew. Did you know that women's feet do this? My sister said your feet & nose continue to grow...even after the rest of you has stopped! My feet grew an entire size this past year, and I'm 32! Who knew....
When I finally find the cowgirl boots meant for me...I'll post a big picture!

Ps how do you like Moscow? My DH and I both went to www.findyourspot.com (...have you been to that site? you fill out a questionaire, more like a personality test, and it analyzes your answers and gives you the top 30 places for you to live in the US) Anyhow, we were online the same day I bought MJs book....and we each filled it out. Both of our results were very similar.... all of the places were tiny towns in New England and then all by itself in the middle of the list was "Moscow, Idaho" I think it's fate! :)

You’re not selfish at all!! Red cowgirl boots whether they fit or not make great farmhouse decoration! I love keeping my knitting needles in them. I wish you lived closer so we could go cowgirl boot hunting. I'm in need of a funky new pair!!Well have a wonderful Friday!!

PS I love Moscow it's so quaint! I lived in Spokane most of my life and really enjoyed the bigger city at that time. Now I'm ready to be in a smaller town. We have a great Farmers Market and adorable little shops. We also enjoy four beautiful seasons. It's a great place to settle down.
