Hi Lisa, I have a question about your copper wrap necklace. . .do you think it'll oxidize and turn your skin greenish as time goes on? Any ideas about that? I think I'd like that if you want any more fringe. . .I don't have any yarn or halloween fabric.
HHMM ?? Good question . It should be ok. I have several of the wire wrap braclets and lots of the necklaces and so far they have never turned me green.I dont think anyone ever has gotten green from the copper i use. I use the same copper on my bracelets and necklaces. It is the copper wire you get in the electrical supply isle. If you want to wear it and see if you like it first that is fine. Let me know your mailing addy and i will send it to ya .If it works out then the fringe would be a great trade.

If copper is worn right next to the skin for a period of time it can oxidize and turn you greenish. The rate it does this depends on your own personal body chemistry. I've had totally copper bracelets that I wore continually do that to me and I used to coat them with clear nail polish so they wouldn't do that. I keep my copper highly polished all the time though, so don't really have a problem that way (swish in vinegar/salt mixture to shine up)
