Can anyone share some info on what they know about this. We would like to do some gardening and some friends of ours mentioned that they do this. Is it just planting certain plants in that much area together or what. I hope I don't sound to stupid about these things. We've always done a large garden and don't really have a need for that anymore.
thanks for any help

Denise - I've done this type of gardening for several years now. It's wonderful! Especially if you have limited space. I would strongly suggest that you get the book. It has so much information and so many ideas. We did 4' x 8' raised beds and then when we were planting we drew 1 x 1 squares in the dirt with our fingers so we'd know where to plant. The gardens get so pretty because they are planted so close and get so lush.
