Each swap is different, the "Swap Mom" will list the rules somewhere or email them to you. Some are round robins like the Tea Cup Exchange 2008 that I started. This is where the person mails to the next person on the list and the bottom mails to the top. Some swaps all get sent to the Swap Mom who divies out the goodies and then mails everyone. Some are divided into groups who all mail each other independently.
I hosted a couple of fat quarter swaps. Actually they can be theme or season or not. I like fabric swaps. We haven't seen one in a while. Maybe someone will do that.

Belle, also if you look in the stitching and crafting you will see some swaps of handmade things. There is a mini apron one going on all the time lately. Check out the pics! I'd like to see a yoyo swap again. They are easy to learn to make and I really like making and swapping them. I am busy with the doll clothes one that I am hosting now, so I won't be hosting one in a while. Yes, they are fun!!
