I am having a sad spell this week. Something happened at another board i go to and it made me so sad. I spoke my mind and that was not really appreciated, i guess. I never spoke my mind before, was not allowed (long story) but now i do. I have changed and some people don't like me for that I guess. I always was a little grey mouse, but not anymore. I will NOT be that grey mouse anymore. But it made me realize maybe I have to move on and leave that board for what it is.
Please pray for a good decision.:(

Dearest Marian, you must be who you ARE first and foremost. I'm so sorry that that are unappreciative of that at this other board.
You are in my prayers and thoughts that a good and right resolution is found
I think you will be welcome here for who you are =) no need to be the mouse in the corner

Marian, I'm sorry you're feeling sad. This has happened to me before. Your friends should accept you for who you are and if things are not going right you should feel that you have the right to stand up for yourself. I know it's easier said than done, I have that trouble too sometimes. I hope things go better for you and I'm glad to get to know you here. You're in my prayers.

Boundaries are very hard to make and keep and I am proud of you for taking a stand for what you believe, and speaking up. Praying things will work themselves out, and I agree, be who you are and no apologies, none necessary. When we change, sometimes that intimidates others who know and expect us as we used to be. Sounds like this might be one of those times...Debbie

Yes I will BE myself. I have decided that I will not visit the other board as often as I used to. This MJF board is way nicer :D

I have always had the knack for wearing my feelings on my sleeve. i used to care alot more. Now I still care, but the older I get the more I feel like I've earned the RIGHT to my opinion. After all opinions are like...belly buttons! Everyone has them! Know how you feel... I posted on another part of this and feel like I totally got ram-rodded for what I believe in. You are a an amazing woman, and amazing woman and I look forward to seeing your threads/posts...and the cat!
